The Mass Archives only has vital records 1850 up to 1915. For earlier records you need to go to the town clerk. For anything later than that you need to go to the Mass Vital Records (nearby at the Bayside Expo Center. Although the Mass Archives are open 9-5 M-F, the Mass Vital Records has strange hours. MONDAY: 2:00pm - 4:30pm, TUESDAY: 9:00am - 12:00pm, WEDNESDAY: NO RESEARCH HOURS, THURSDAY: 2:00pm – 4:30pm, FRIDAY: 9:00am - 12:00p.
